All glazing supplied as plain glass to give a contemporary, modern feel to the cabins. Doors and windows can have a Georgian bar affect added at the factory as an optional extra. Each door or window unit is charged for at a cost of £47.00. Premium grade doors and windows have the bars integrated. Superior and standard glazing have the bars applied externally to the glass.

Plenty of spare parts too in case of any accidents etc..unfortunately one piece was damaged in transit, but it was able to be resolved by the person who put the cabin together.All in all would highly recommend and we are very pleased with our clockhouse cabin; it has definitely added something special to the outlook of our garden ,Thank you

The cabin is of good quality and was very good value as the log cabin walls were upgraded to 45 mm with no additional charges ! Delivery was delayed but it was not the fault of Garden Adventure Ltd .There were minor problems when the cabin was installed but these issues were resolved quickly and in a satisfactory manner. I would use Garden Adventure Ltd again as overall it is a decent organisation.

This Cabin is extremely solid. Thick walls, spacious and great looking. You order your cabin and Martin keeps you informed when it is in the country. You pay half up front and when it is ready to be delivered you pay the balance. Martin is great and answers all your questions quickly. I would definitely sing the praises of these cabins.

We checked out several Log Cabin sites over several weeks – it seemed like a game of chance with so many pros and cons for each company. Luckily for us we chose Garden Adventure and their Clockhouse design. The transaction went like clockwork from the start thanks to Martin whose help and advice played an important part (44mm logs were definitely the right choice!) Delivery was on schedule with the haulier dropping the 1-2 tonnes package exactly where we wanted it. The erectors were helped by an easy-to-follow manual, everything slotted into place and we are thoroughly happy with our new garden retreat. – JB and GB, Essex.

My only small observation would be they should include window stays as part of the cabin but apart from that excellent product and good service.

Glazing Options

Glazing is offered in three options.

Your choice should be made by considering the building use, for example will it be used 12months of the year. All year round points more towards Superior and Premium, a summer house really only needs to use the Standard fit. Your location will also have a bearing on which to choose - How cold does it get where you live. Scotland has far more cold days than the South East of England, for example. And budget will play a part. The better options do cost more !

In each option, the glass panes are 4mm thick and the double glazing filled with Argon Gas. What varies across the options is the divide width between panes of glass. This ranges from 6mm up to 16mm. In simple terms, the greater the cavity the more efficient and insulating the double glazing becomes.

Door and window furniture also improves with the options

Standard glazing has side hung windows that open outward.

Superior and Premium windows utilise a tilt and turn hinge mechanism that allows the window to wither hinge at the bottom or on the side. In both cases, the window opens inwards

Felt Shingles

The price above will provision enough felt shingles to cover the roof with some to spare if laid correctly

Felt shingles are available in four colours - Green / Grey / Red / Black.

Standard packs are 1000mm x 330mm and each pack contains 21 pieces.

Ridge and starter row tiles are 1000mm x 250mm and each pack contains 20 pieces covering up to 20 linear metres to line the roof edge or 12 linear metres of overlapped ridge. Note : Not all colours are available as Ridge and Starter tiles, in which case enough standard shingles will be supplied to use for this purpose.

Shingles packs will cover 3square metres if laid correctly and require a minimum 11 degree roof pitch

However, the customer service from Garden Adventure was not great; the cabin was a month late arriving, we had to chase for information regarding this as none was forthcoming. The incorrect bearers arrived and although we received a refund we had to chase for this. Not sure I would recommend them but the cabin materials were great.

Seamless ordering, Martin was extremely helpful with all my questions.Delivery was also fantastic with the delivery guy very helpful (it's a big delivery). Took me and elderly father in law 2 days to get it all up and built/weather tight, went together very easily with no issues. I went for the shingle roof, it still came also with felt which could be used as roof underlay. For spec I went for the superior level glazing with toughened glass, also went for the larger logs (68mm) and glad I did as feels so sturdy/insulated although am sure the 44mm would be great also. I Insulated the floor with celotex, could have done the roof but as this is a garden room rather than office etc I didn't go that far.Overall a highly recommended product, for what you get I think it's a very competitive price, much better than others I had seen that weren't so good. The only parts I bought myself were the insulation and guttering (and paint/preserve of course). I want it to last so did two coats of preserve, knotting and two of paint, also have a sealant to go on which is yet to be done. A sprayer really helped/cut down on time.Would not hesitate in recommending Martin to purchase through, helpful all through the process and very quick to respond. 5*

Really pleased with our log cabin! Can't believe the quality of the wood. It took the installation team (Lee Stuart and 3 others who were recommended by Martin) 6.5 hours which was really impressive given the weather conditions on the day, and even they said how good the quality was. It is so warm inside and we didn't even have the insulation installed. Great correspondence from Martin from the start to keep us in the loop regarding production and delivery times.
